The Chakras

“Chakras” is a word from Sanskrit origin meaning a “wheel”. A human body consists of 48 chakras in total, out of which 7 are the major chakras. There are the energy centers and are always rotating in circular motions. And these chakras form an essential part of the Aura. These 7 major chakras are about 4 inches in diameter.

All of these 7 major Chakras have their own specific functions. And just as the wheels of any vehicle need to be balanced, the chakras of the human body always need to be in a well-balanced state. The imbalance in any of these chakras causes various problems in the body, which may be physical, emotional or psychological.

These chakras are also inter-dependent on each other. Imbalance in one chakras may also effect some other chakras.

Hence, it is always necessary to keep all the chakras in balance, for a balanced health and balanced life.

All chakras have their own powers and functions. Any kind of problem or illness in a body can be corrected and treated by strengthening the related chakras and by restoring its balance

The 7 major chakras of the human body are located in a center straight vertical line, starting from the center of the head to the root base of the spinal code. The color of these 7 chakras is ordered as per ‘VIBGYOR’. The detail of these 7 chakras is tabulated below :-
